WASHINGTON, June 22, 2011 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture(USDA)/Rural Development today recognized Parker Tide with its Small Business Contractor of the Year Award. Tony Parker, president of Parker Tide, accepted a commemorative plaque on behalf of the company before an audience of prominent USDA officials and industry representatives attending the awards ceremony at the J. L. Whitten Building.
