WASHINGTON, DC / October 16, 2013 – New York-based Employee Leasing of Greater New York, LLC D/B/A Distinctive Temporary Personnel Service (Distinctive Personnel) along with Parker Tide Corp. serving as a major subcontractor, has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide Temporary Administrative Support and Clerical Occupations (TASCO).
With an award consisting of 9 regions including 45 states plus the District of Columbia, the TASCO contract is designed to offer a wide-range of administrative support services throughout the VA. Services acquired under this contract will assist in meeting the increasing demands currently being experienced by VA facilities across the United States over the next 5 years.

Distinctive Personnel will act as a Prime Contractor with a team comprised of 1 subcontractor, Parker Tide Corp. As one of the esteemed companies to be awarded a TASCO contract, Distinctive Personnel will now compete with three to five other Prime Contractors (depending on the region) on future administrative support task orders released by VA.
